Artists path
Greccio has been transformed into an open-air art gallery.
A path winding through the streets, squares and alleys of the historical centre, offers visitors the opportunity to discover 26 different works of art by international artists. The works are found on the walls of the ancient houses and convey the Franciscan spirit in the world. It’s a contemporary open-air art museum where nature, art, and nativity scenes are the main elements of the pictorial iconographic pattern.
The path leads to a memorial chapel containing the stone on which Saint Francis stood when he preached to the people of Greccio.
